Garment Care
GCMD garments are designed for movement, longevity, and regular wear. To maintain the feel of the fabric and the clarity of the artwork, we recommend the following care approach:
Washing
- Machine wash cold with like colors
- Turn garments inside-out before washing
- Use a gentle cycle; avoid bleach and harsh detergents
- Skip fabric softeners, as they can diminish performance over time
For pieces with delicate or fine artwork
If your piece features intricate detailing or very fine linework, consider hand washing or placing it in a mesh garment bag. This minimizes friction and keeps the artwork looking its best — especially during the first few washes.
Drying
- Air dry or lay flat to dry for the longest garment and artwork life
- Tumble drying on low is possible, but air drying is preferred
Ironing
- Do not iron directly over artwork
- If needed, place a cloth barrier or avoid the artwork area altogether
Longevity
GCMD artwork and fabrics are made to withstand consistent wear. Washing with cool temperatures and minimizing surface friction will keep your pieces looking clean and refined over time.
