GCMD pieces are designed at the intersection of fine art, athletic function, and studio-level craftsmanship.
Every garment begins with a precise silhouette, premium fabric selection, and original artwork created in-studio.

Below is an overview of what defines GCMD apparel.

Fabric Selection

Every material is chosen for performance, longevity, and feel:

  • soft, sculpted microfiber blends
  • breathable, temperature-regulating natural fibers
  • four-way stretch knits for unrestricted movement
  • modal-rich fabrics with a silk-smooth hand
  • cotton and French terry for structure and comfort

We work with select production partners whose textiles meet the brand’s standards for quality and performance.

Small-Batch Production

GCMD does not operate on mass-production cycles.
Pieces are released in limited quantities, produced in controlled batches, and finished with a slow-fashion approach.

This model allows us to:

  • reduce waste and overproduction
  • maintain elevated quality control
  • create intentional silhouettes
  • release artwork-driven designs without excess inventory

Some items are available in-studio; others enter our preorder process and are finished once they arrive.

Artwork Application

Every design begins as original artwork created in-studio by GCMD’s founder.
The artwork is applied using a premium-grade transfer chosen for its precision, flexibility, and color fidelity.

Each garment is pressed and inspected by hand in Vermont — a controlled studio process that preserves detail, maintains softness, and ensures the artwork integrates cleanly with the fabric.

Finishing & Quality Control

Each piece is:

  • pressed by hand
  • inspected, and prepared for packaging

Garments that do not meet GCMD standards are removed from inventory.

Fit Philosophy

GCMD silhouettes are designed with intention — some sculpted and contoured, others relaxed and easy — but all grounded in thoughtful form and movement.
Each product page includes detailed notes on feel, stretch, and sizing so you can choose the fit that aligns with your preference.

Why It’s Different

GCMD garments are not mass-produced athletic basics with graphics applied.
